The Friends of the Union County Library is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting library programs, including the library's Summer Reading programs, to benefit residents of all ages in Union County. Several fundraising events are held throughout the year to support these efforts such as author events in the spring and fall and a summer book sale. Ticket sales for author events are announced on the library's website as well as social media.
